Abstract : The research study aimed at defining the nature and concept of housing from all economic, engineering and environmental aspects. It also addressed the need for such idea and its origin. In addition, the research tackled the desired goals behind housing and the design criteria necessary for having economic housing with the highest quality and the lowest possible cost. The research attempted to provide economical and sustainable solutions to the problems of housing, the high cost of its construction, by proposing a method of construction to reduce the costs. This is through building sustainable green materials, while highlighting the importance of using the rationalizing means of energy for the local environment, and the exploitation of renewable ones. Hence, the research sought to show the feasibility of developing houses with economical and sustainable solutions by providing an analytical and economic study on the various costs of the current and suggested houses with the use of rationalizing means of the electrical energy suitable for these houses and comparing them in terms of quality and cost.
