Abstract : This dissertation proposes a new approach for roughness in vector spaces, a rough vector space. The algebraic and topological structures of rough vector spaces are introduced with some representative examples. In addition, theorems on rough vector space are discussed. Furthermore, we applied the rough approximations, lower and upper, into a topological vector space. The results about rough approximations in a vector space and a topological vector space are proved.
