Design and Implementation of Fault-Tolerant Controller System
تصميم وتنفيذ لنظام تحكم مسامح للأخطاء

Subject : Computer-Based Control Systems

Abstract : Development of Sensor, Actuator, and Loop Validation needs reliable controller subsystems. Economic pressures are dispersing machine intelligence away from centralized computers towards distributed field bus devices. Simultaneously, the control concept is being extended to include other operational factors such as quality assurance, process data availability. As credible sensing and actuation are essential prerequisites for advanced control, validation of the sensor and actuator is necessary. As such system are linked to a range of different overall plant system, we must consider generic validation and its reporting to the next level up. The fault-tolerance techniques are studied to develop an improved controller subsystem for any process by using efficient and economical parallel systems. The design of this controller subsystem is developed under the fault-tolerant systems conditions. One of the most serious problems in designing of fault-tolerance systems (FTS) is the ‘voter’ which chooses between the running processors. In this paper, a design and implementation of a FT multi-controller system is which the problem of the mentioned voter is avoided.
